I tried several LED strips to light up my tank but none of them were powerful enough to reach a depth of 23 inches. But this LED worked like a charm. I can illuminate the entire aquarium from above and illuminate every corner without black spots. I'm using a 12V 90W power adapter and I bought a wireless RF dimmer module. It worked like a charm.

Use for under cabinet lighting. Connected it with a switch and the appropriate transformer and it works perfectly. There may be slight kinks/buckles when trying to work around a tight corner but it still works well and as it's under the cupboards none of it is visible anyway. If you're wiring multiple separate sections, make sure you choose the same type, as some LED strips produce cooler whites rather than warm whites.

They are very good and give a nice bright white light. There is no yellow cast, which I like very much. If you buy this product and don't know how to use it, you should buy connectors when you buy it. I have quite a bit of military experience and had trouble getting a soldier to plug in so I had to buy some connectors. It also makes the job easier when you buy multiple mounting clips. All in all, this is a very good product and I can only recommend it.

Revain product information says they are not waterproof. However, the IP62 rating means they protect against water droplets. It is important to note that the strip has a protective clear plastic coating. Therefore, even after scraping all of the plastic covering off the contact area, soldering becomes difficult and in my experience clips on connectors do not always make good contact.
