Excellent material and good quality. It's a good thing it's longer than most flannel robes I've had in the past, but you have to be careful when walking up the stairs so you don't step on the bottom of the robe. Only criticism is that the sash could have been a bit longer.

When I was looking for a robe, I wanted a good quality one for $80. I thought he was perfect! I learned from the reviews that the flannel is heavy and warm, so I bought it hoping it would meet those expectations. When I received it, while the design was cool, the fit was a bit large, I felt like it was made of durable flannel. It was quite thin and a bit cold when worn around the house, hence I gave it 3 stars. I wish it had a fluffy insulating layer but it is.

Bathrobe is beautiful and fits perfectly. The only downside was that the inner lining doesn't stay down. We ended up adding a few stitches along the inside to hold it in place. Otherwise a perfect light but warm bathrobe.

I got a Lee Valley flannel shirt from the Vermont Country Store 27 years ago so I know how long it will last. does not take up much space and weight in the luggage. Excellent robe.

I bought this bathrobe for my adult son based on my experience of a flannel bathrobe and Lee Valley pajamas of the same style that I bought for myself at least 10 years ago. The new bathrobe is soft and beautiful and my son loves it. However, the weight of the flannel in this robe is not as heavy as the fabric of my old robe. The fabric of this robe is heavier than a new robe, even after many, many washes and wears, and even with the loss of lint that contributes to the softness we desire…
