Many years ago I gave my daughter a Lego advent calendar, here we are, 15 years later and still giving her a Lego advent calendar, she's a year old when she's 21 and you might think we pushed her out into the murky adult world, we got the message, keep your lego advent calendars though she's grown and has her own house and her own spouse. really nice calendar and if you are a family of lego nerds like us any age would love to get one as an early christmas present

For the second year in a row I am buying a Lego advent calendar. I'm not always into chocolate and my son is obsessed with Lego and what we bought last year was such a hit! I had no idea there were multiple versions of Lego advent calendars so I was very happy to find this one. Every day he gets a new Lego piece to build - hockey players are the favorite at the moment. I thought it was expensive until I saw how much was included, sooooo much detail and his almost 7 year old fingers are flying around putting it together and then tweaking the city to how it looks "bye". Our box doubled on one item and that seems to have ruined everything. My son opened day 5 and the picture shows a police officer playing hockey but there was what was called a 'mystery item' in the bag and we had no idea how to piece it together.
