Finally got around to checking this for contents. I suspected something was wrong when the original seals were torn off and it was resealed with tape. I read the owner's manual what parts should be. Multiple bags should be labeled 1-7. NO BAGS marked 2. These cannot be collected.

I bought this to assemble while recovering from an operation. I'm a huge Anglophile and it's been a pleasure to sit and work on this. This is the EXPERT level and if you don't like the little details that last hours, don't buy this set. It looks great next to my Tower Bridge set!

This is a highly detailed 3D puzzle game. Over 4000 parts, most of which are small. The result is a beautiful model. The design is repetitive and boring, to say the least. I love the end product but my fingers are leathery and sore from all those little bits. Maybe I should have expected that. I am currently working on a Technic 42043 Mercedes AROC Truck. Great looking model, ready to play right out of the box, but takes a bit of effort to assemble - lots of tiny parts, repetitive sections and an almost all brown color scheme. For these reasons I would not recommend this set for casual builders or most children, it really is for show not play and enthusiasts. I am a HUGE LEGO fan. In fact, my wife says I have a problem. Still, I just can't fall in love with this set. Of course, the amount of detail is impressive compared to the price (lots of small parts), the brown LEGO bricks look great (so many of the same parts just keep being used) and the size is huge (doesn't matter). goes well with my LEGO city).
