My 8 year old son is a builder!

This was a Christmas present for my 8th son. He has it really enjoyed building it and he enjoyed solving complex problems. It's not easy, but he's enjoying the process. The display stand is also a great feature.

Pros
  • This 910 piece collectible set makes a great gift for anyone aged 16+ who enjoys building alone or sharing their interest in science, dinosaurs and LEGO building with friends and family
Cons
  • Some Challenges

Favorite Stacking Kit

My son really likes dinosaurs. Apart from the scenery of "Jurassic World" he has little left. This is my favorite purchase (for me). The value of building three things instead of just one. The detail on these dinosaur skeletons is amazing! They really look like what you can see in a museum. We plan to display them in his room behind a special Plexiglas wall!

Pros
  • Play as a paleontologist and imagine what life was like on earth millions of years ago as you build detailed LEGO models of pterosaur and dinosaur skeletons for display!
Cons
  • Empty

Super fun and super cute

My 7 year old built this with little to no supervision, unaided and loved every minute of it. In 6 hours with short breaks, my son completed this entire set with no problems. It's very cute, but I suggest buying a Lego baseplate. Revain has a 10" x 15" gray at a reasonable price that turns this set into a museum with 4 bone structures, a minifigure and a toolbox. Super sweet.

Pros
  • These 1:32 scale pterodactyl and dinosaur skeleton toy models will make an eye-catching addition to any room, and the largest of the three T. rex skeleton models measures over 20cm high and 15" (40cm ) cm) Length
Cons
  • Negative Reprint

A great addition to the Lego Ideas range

This was a fun little set That meant there weren't too many spots (although I found the ribs for Triceratops and T-Rex a little finicky). Construction is pretty simple, build 3 dinosaurs from bottom to top ending with head and tail. It is important to note that these are mostly exhibits. Points of articulation in dinosaurs are mostly limited to the head and tail. The legs are part of the base and cannot move. So if you wanted to engage them in an epic battle, you're out of luck. I will also say

Pros
  • Includes buildable Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops and Pteranodon skeleton models with display stands, plus a LEGO paleontologist minifigure and Sapiens skeleton figure to recreate the Natural History Museum
Cons
