I bought this to control two different lights from the same group box and it works as advertised. Definitely works as it should.

It was pretty easy to hook up and looks great to replace a 2 speed dispard switch. Works with a general or independent switch.

This item worked well and was as advertised. The only downside for me is that it doesn't "click" as hard as other similarly configured switches. Not so much for me. If I needed it again, I would always take another one.
