As others have written this appears to be standard tape. I haven't tested durability in the cold. Updated 10/02/2017 This tape will not stick to wet or cold surfaces. I recently found a roll of tape from Freezer King for comparison; it really is like that.

I bought Freeze Tape. When I received the package, tape was clearly marked on the back of each roll. You don't have to go through the hassle of shipping the strap back, but if you're specifically looking for a freezer strap, you might want to look beyond this product.

This is NOT a freezer strap. This is NOT microwaveable. It will NOT stick in the freezer. And it does NOT form a moisture-proof seal. It's painter's tape - good old masking tape - with the wrong label on shrink wrap. But in the roll it is clearly marked as a masking tape. This is not for home gardeners or people packing meat or game for the freezer. LEM must think we're idiots.

I ordered a freezer strap. When it arrived there were 4 rolls of shrink tape with a sticker on the bottom that said 'Freeze Tape'. BUT when I opened the package and took out the roll to use, I saw that it was regular, everyday electrical tape. It was a 3M 101+ product. I didn't read the reviews before buying this 'freezer' tape, I just tossed it in the basket with the dispenser.
