Perfect fit. However, the bars for connecting the extension to my existing baby gate are too big. Didn't think to check that part. I thought all child hate ties were universal. The extender was actually thicker and better quality than the baby gate I bought at Walmart. I would recommend buying parts from the same manufacturer as your gate to ensure they fit properly.
