Like other reviews I can confirm they really do smell like real fish. I don't think I can bring myself to use them in my reverse osmosis system. Shame considering how cheap the price compares to other places that charge $20 for a single ball valve.

The product works very well but only with certain types of pipe. I've noticed that a hose I have is leaking under pressure. This may be because the tube is the wrong diameter, but I think the o-ring on the side might be a bit small. But it was only on one tube. All others worked perfectly.

Everything was included as advertised. However, they had an oily substance and smelled like a goldfish bowl. It took about 3 good washes to get rid of the fishy smell. I could make it work for what I needed it for. I don't think I will order them again.

They were easy to install except the blue clips were slightly smaller compared to the John Guest clips. Unfortunately, about a third of the connections are leaking. I used fresh tubing, neatly cut at a 90 degree angle. Leaky connections were weighed down by the need to have an elbow nearby.

I really like their ease of use but some were broken. The little piece of white plastic in the picture was half of the ring that holds the plastic tube on that end of the valve, so this valve is useless. Luckily for me there were more of these in the kit than I needed. Inexpensive, nothing has leaked, otherwise I'm satisfied. But be careful and check all details carefully before installation.

I've seen several complaints about bad odors and check valve failures. Took a risk and ordered because the price is so cheap how can you complain. Although I couldn't open the check valve with my breath, I hooked one up to my air compressor and they opened at 20psi. Not sure why it's not defined as a spec, but they work. These connectors offer excellent value for money. I'm a lapidary and I needed to hook up a water supply system and when I look at Home Depot all the hookups are $4-$5 and up. For a system that requires multiple quickly collapsible valves. Found this set and decided to give it a try. With a little fine tuning everything works great. I open the package and only the smell of fish comes out. There was no humidifier in the package - just fittings and smell. I don't know if the seller sent me the used and returned ones in error, or if he discards them from the aquarium facilities and sells them as new.
