Will not work with new 2021 iMac

I just bought a new 2021 iMac and received it hoping I could use my external devices as iMacs only have USB-C and Thunderbolt ports. I plugged it in and nothing happened. My computer does not read the external file. I am currently looking for other hubs and am hoping to find one that works.

Good price but no build quality.

This doesn't allow me to access my external drive, I think it's because it's not an externally powered hub. I've never had this problem. Also, my camera card reader overheats when connected to it. I've never had this problem before. Overall aesthetics are okay, color is a bit off, build quality is very light and feels cheap. Another annoyance is that it just sticks out to the side and doesn't want to lie flat. This case is back. Not worth the money even if it's cheaper than other brands.

NOT EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED

Revised test. The product looks good. Unfortunately, I can only use two of the three USB 3 ports at the same time. It is not enough for more "strength". When I try to charge my laptop via Power Passthrough, my laptop notifies me that I'm using a "slow charger". some sort of incompatibility with their hub that limits power output to a maximum of 60W. Obviously, it's not enough charge a laptop and run three USB devices at the same time. I am clearly disappointed that the hub is not working asโ€ฆ

Expansion of MacBook ports! Run 5 devices + 2 SDHC out of 1 USB-C upstream port!

Great! , and portable devices moving to a more "universal" USB-C connection solution, this is a brilliant device for "multi-port" expansion! Tired of buying high-end electronics only to find that they require a "USB Camera" adapter (sold separately, of course!)? Buy 2-3 of these. No more waiting around for extra fasteners. This device will help you get started with "any electronic device", that is on the market today. 2 SDH card readers for standard and/or mini connectors, HDMI connector, 3 USB
