The child is frustrated with the rotation!

Because the fork and spoon rotate to keep it upright, it was frustrating for our 18 month old daughter because when she tried to take food on the spoon or fork, she kept turning and was so upset about not using it!

Doesn't work as advertised

Really doesn't work well. The utensil does not rotate smoothly in the handle, gets stuck on an uneven spot, and the food falls off. Bought these for a disabled child and ended up disappointing him more than just a regular spoon.

They are alright. In Feeding

These are fine. They're a bit for the learner and sometimes they don't spin smoothly. The handles are ok because she can grab them, but the spoon/spoon is quite wide and hard for little mouths. My 5 year old finds them funny but my 1.5 year old doesn't really need them.

Pros
  • it is clear, even for the old
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Game changer is good for solid feeding

She is two years old, her mother has no patience, her meme said let her eat herself, but the spoon was turned upside down, and the floor and her knees enjoyed the food let alone over canine delight. It's a game changer, Mema can now look at her iPad while feeding herself cereal. I'd say give it a try if you need to learn how to use a spoon instead of the finger method.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great for little hands.

My son's therapist recommended a self-leveling spoon. I liked that it was a spoon and fork set for the price of the spoon she recommended. My son can easily grab them and he shows that he is symmetrical so he can easily use both hands. They are very easy to clean. My son's therapist liked them so much when I brought them to therapy that she bought them for herself at the clinic.

Special Education Teacher Approved!

I'm a special education teacher and I work with students who need special crockery. I love these spoons for my student who is working on eating without spilling the contents of this spoon. This spoon/spork (we only use one spoon) has a great swirl. Other spoons I've used get stuck, but not this one. Also the handle is big and textured to help kids learn to eat by themselves. They work much better than expensive metal spinners. Another thing I love about this product is that the spoonful spoon…

Not what I expected?

Spoon and fork arrived and was exactly as described. They seem very durable and easy to hold. But I think I was expecting something different or should wait and try again when our grandson is a bit older. The existing movement that keeps them level for less spillage is very loose. It's not that the attachment itself is loose, it's just that it moves very freely and it's difficult for him to put anything on a spoon or fork. He moves while trying to pick up food and he can't stuff anything in it.

Pros
  • Feeding
Cons
  • Out of fashion
