Leviton 80411-NT: Premium Light Almond 3-Gang Decora/GFCI Wallplate - Standard Size & Device Mount Review

I wanted a thermoset, but got a thermoplastic sheet that I tried to replace. The upper label is marked with Thermoplastic and the lower label with Duroplast.

Beautiful as always. Hard plastic Leviton that goes well with ivory Leviton. The screws are packed in packs of two to prevent scratches. As it is a hard plastic, avoid over tightening.

Need a new 3 seater for housework. This was the same as those already used and was a stronger material that was a bit thicker and more durable - more likely NOT to snap when tightening the screws.

This particular wall plate is well built and looks good but is so tight that the switches will rub if not perfectly aligned. However, increasing the hole by even 0.5mm would allow for some imperfections in the inner box.

I prefer thermoset plates for their flexibility. Very often, drywall around outlets isn't straight and flat. The flexible panel is able to accommodate wall deflections without breaking the panel and closing the gap between the panel and the wall. Rigid panels cannot accommodate deflection without breaking.

While my husband was updating our outlets tonight, I followed him and put the covers on. I immediately noticed that the packaging was different for the two 3-piece plates. Upon opening the panel in the prettier packaging, there were six tiny white screws, while the other triple panel had NO SCREWS! It is quite difficult to install the panel cover without screws.
