Leviton 80421-W Combination Wallplate: 2-Toggle, 1-Decora/GFCI Device | Sleek and Durable Design Review

I replaced one of my garage light switches with an infrared breaker and needed a larger decorative hole in one end. It matched the color of the plate that was already there. It's not flimsy like many wall panels. If the plastic does not become brittle in the winter cold, it will last a long time.

I ordered a couple of these to add some Wemo dimmers and light switches. I had several 3 button panels with standard switches and needed to add a dimmer to them. These panels fit very well, although they are slightly different in size from those used by electricians when building houses. I have to touch up the record a bit to mix it, but it's actually NBD.

I read in a review that you refuse a wall plate that comes with 4 out of 6 screws. Well, how do you negatively rate the one with no screws? I ordered the same wall plate last week and everything was great. Ordered this for another record this week and it didn't come with any screws. It's a bit embarrassing that you get 1/2 of an item but the other 1/2 needed to make it work didn't arrive.

I prefer Leviton's standard wall plates because they are made of tough, thick thermoset rather than thinner, more flexible thermoplastic nylon. However, there is a chance that they will break if you overtighten the screws, which mostly happens with 3-place boards, as the switches often don't quite align to the same depth (this can be solved with the rubber grommets that next go the screws that mount the switches before mounting the wall plate). Arrived broken in 2 pieces. Revane Prime usually handles recoil very well. For some obscure reason (sent to a site with many options and a return policy, none of which seem to apply to this order) I do not accept returns if I clicked, arrived damaged, box intact. When looking for missing or broken parts, the manufacturer number 1800 was given to me. It would have taken a lot longer than writing this review for five dollars. So I would switch from ordering from Leviton to Revine.

What do you think of the wall plate? The plate is ok and looks good but it is a 3 gang wall plate and only 4 screws are included. Not a big deal since I have spare screws for the plate cover. However, this panel includes a Decora/GFCI hole and they use shorter screws to prevent the screw from penetrating the drywall. If the wall was wood or anything other than drywall, you'd have to run into town to a hardware store to try and find a painted screw to match. Is it a big deal? No, but still worth
