This socket covers scratches easily so take care not to let a screwdriver come into contact with the cover plate as this will leave visible scratches.

I ordered stainless steel and got 1 metal blue socket cover and 1 metal blue switch cover. I double checked the item to make sure I didn't choose blue and there isn't even a blue option. Not worth the money to send back. I have nowhere to use them so it was very disappointing.

The plastic is hard and cheap, a bit shiny. Of the 10 pads in the pack, 2 were completely destroyed, 1 was cracked and the surface of one was worn away by the screws from the adjacent pad pack. I didn't buy this item carefully; Shatterproof wall panels are also available with a matte finish, which I prefer to this product.

Looks really cheap. It gets dirty easily, dings and dents show up right away, has a cheap shine and doesn't look good like it does in a photo. I had high hopes but ended up having to buy more expensive ones. Also, they're the same size as regular plastic, which was an advantage for an outlet that's too close to the tile, the only outlet I've used them in. You get what you pay for and if you want outlets to look classy it won't be enough, I assure you!

Looks great to me and sets off existing stainless steel decor. Easy to clean with a damp paper towel, which makes me very happy as stainless steel can be a nuisance to clean. Also fits my Leviton Double Gang ss wall plate. They are smaller than the standard size wall panels they replaced. I was ready for the cleaning, sanding and color touch up based on the reviews I read which is something to consider in your review.

The order came quickly and the add-on status was a big help in saving on shipping. Stars are missing from my rating just because the wallboard has clearly been used. The package was opened, it had no protective film (unlike the 5 I received elsewhere) and the front was stained with some sort of rust or resin; what I still need to figure out how to remove it.
