Reliable Indicator for RV Electricals

Not quite what I thought

Installation of UV water purification systems with ballast for incandescent use. I always install surge protection so surges don't destroy the ballast. I'm always looking for a surge protector that I can plug into an outlet and then plug into my UV system. I thought it was one of those. SURPRISE! This is a wired outlet that plugs into a square metal junction box. This is a very durable and seemingly reliable surge protector designed for hospital use. But it doesn't fit in an outlet.
