These sockets are discreet in appearance, easy to install and connect. I used regular outlet boxes and they fit perfectly. Some reviews complained that they were brittle and even broke when the screws that attached them to the box (included) were hand tightened. I've used the power driver and haven't had any problems so far. Of course they're plastic, so don't twist them, but they're ok. They work well for me and I would buy them again.

Damn - should have read the reviews. But in my defense I'll say it was 4.5 stars and there aren't that many ways to ruin a cartridge. Not to mention that there was no mention of "plastic" in the description. This manufacturer found one of only three ways to screw it up. It's made out of the cheapest plastic. It would be nice if you didn't have to screw into the junction box. but if you do, you'll likely crack the case at the slightest pressure.

As trendy as flush mount LED panels are, they aren't easy to replace when they burn out or fail due to surges and sags, which is a common occurrence when I'm alive . So I replaced them with this standard lamp socket. No wires are supplied, but it's easy to tell which terminal is hot and which is neutral. It can be easily installed over the old mount point without any modifications. Plugged in my smart LED lightbulb and it lit up with no issues.

In my area the new lighting circuit wiring needs checking and our new giant flat LED lights could not be installed until the ceiling was closed. and we couldn't close the ceiling until the electrical work was checked. A handful of these cheap, simple, and no-frills lights were just what we needed to pass the test and get started. They're brittle and don't cope well with over-tightened screws, but they're about what you should expect for the price.

Good for the price. The screws provided are 1/2" shorter than the original screws and one of the old screws had to be used as the box appeared to be skewed in the ceiling when installed. They're plastic and I'm sure they'll be durable, but DO NOT USE A cordless screwdriver or I can see how easy it is to break one. I've read other reviews about over-tightening screws and breaking them. I've heard a slight pop and stopped before I broke mine completely Such great value and looks but be careful…

This bracket was just what I needed to replace an old bracket that was no longer working. It arrived quickly after ordering in a recyclable padded envelope.
