Why am I surprised that this is so?

I can't tell why my closet is always damp. A damp closet equates to mold and mildew soaked clothing. It was a nightmare to wash clean clothes before wearing them so they wouldn't smell of mold. I put this in my closet after taking a Lowes outlet adapter (do you have a built in outlet?) and plugging it into a lamp socket. After a week (and emptying the tank several times) my clothes were dry. Now I have to overcome the lack of light there.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some errors

Very easy to use - Plug and Play

So it's very easy to use - I've attached a picture to show how easy the steps are. It's as simple as plugging it in and turning it on. We put a drain hose in the sink (we use it in our basement) and it's really clean. Thought it would be great value - we need to keep the basement clean and it works well for keeping moisture out of the air there. It runs into the small sink we have and it's hardly a problem. The bucket never needs to be emptied.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Almost never

Works well in an RV

Living in central Florida, I rely on a dehumidifier to keep my RV mold and algae free during the hot and humid summer months. My last device died after 2 years with the device running 24/7 most of the time. I replaced it with this unit and so far so good, removes moisture from the air well, I have to empty the tank every 3 days. Will be updated in the future if there are any durability issues compared to my old device. Will be adding an automatic drain hose in the near future, wanted to make…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Really loud! for heating, cooling and air quality

I just received this dehumidifier yesterday, plugged it in during the day and was immediately bombarded with an annoying high pitched humming noise. I put it in the corner of the dining room in the kitchen, hoping I wouldn't hear it from the living room. Failed! It's really annoying, but I decided to see how well it absorbs moisture before testing it or deciding whether to keep it. I have 4 dehumidifiers in different rooms/buildings on our property. These are all different brands and this one…

Pros
  • a handy item
Cons
  • so far so good

So far so good, I see water

I love the compact design of this dryer. The transparent reservoir makes it easy to see how well it removes moisture from the surface. I wasn't sure how fast it would fill up, so I attached a drain hose. Leaving it on in my very small RV it seems to do the job I need it to do. We live in Florida so due to the recent rains we have hellish humidity in the air every day. Leaky roof recently repaired. Had to destroy all bedding, mattresses, sleeping bags etc that were in the RV. He didn't have time

Pros
  • Waiting for
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
