Excellent device, smart app requires too much phone access

The noise level is pretty quiet for the amount of air it moves. It's quite large, but not so heavy that it's difficult to move. Works great for air filtering. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my mum a few days later when she was complaining of allergies. Filter. If you forget to do this, it will run with no filter installed. All in all, the quick setup takes less than 2 minutes from opening the box to starting the machine. This is a simple 5 star rating. There was one downside. When

Lighter than other Levoit air purifiers for large rooms BUT be careful with the bottom of this thing.

First, I have two Levoit air purifiers for large rooms and have been using them for several years. They work well when the filters are clean, but not so well when they're bad. The lights don't go out so I had to cover them with purple tape at night as it annoys me. Older filters are easy to change and I have enough filters for about 2 months. However, they are a bit heavy. I was looking for a medical grade air purifier for my mom that has a high CADR (a measure of volume of air moved) and after reading the brands recommended by the doctor, it came up with the List much more expensive machines (IQAir, Alen, ETC) so I thought let's try. Used for 5 months. I used it in my 33m2 bedroom for 2.5 months and in my 60m2 living room for another 2.5 months. Yes, I know that's about 400 square feet, but here's my review anyway.
