This is what you need. Being able to seal the bolts is great as it prevents rust streaks from appearing on your license plate or car.

Bought to give the license plate a nice look. My coating fell off within the first 24 hours. The others are stunning too; expect them to follow soon. waste of money.

Slightly disappointed I was also looking for stainless steel buttons and the description led me to believe they were. Nowhere in the description does it say it's plastic or ABS. Although it worked as described.

If you want to remove the dealer's license plate frame (since they don't pay you to advertise) and give your license plate a clean look, this is the only way. They are very easy to install and only take a few minutes to make your license plates stand out. You can order a kit of black or chrome caps to complement any license plate

Studs don't work on most modern cars but I suspected that when I looked at the picture so I bought this to mainly black caps to get. So my suspicions are confirmed, but just use the hardware (screw or bolt) that came with your machine instead. Simply remove them and place a translucent "washer" underneath and then snap the cap on. The washer is deep enough to clear most if not all factory equipment.

When my car needed a new number plate bracket and the existing screws didn't fit this was the perfect kit to solve the problem. I particularly like the black detailing that hides the screws, making them a bit smoother. Especially since I live in New Jersey and we have those disgusting yellow license plates. It's a bit pricey for small screws to be honest, but there aren't many other options that look this streamlined.

I ordered this set together with fan license plate frame for my car. Unfortunately, the raised midframe didn't leave enough room for the black screw caps to fit over the screws. It's something I wouldn't think about whether the covers will fit or not. While covers are usually fine, this review is to warn others that covers may not work if their license plate frames have a raised top near where the screws attach the frame to the vehicle (e.g. team name).

Wow, how can you not love something as simple as a license plate frame? Four screws, washers and plastic covers. It's easy if: 1.) the screws are short 2.) the plastic covers don't snap onto the washers 3.) the washers are thick and prevent the screws from going into the brackets. I bought caps before.
