Absolutely worst experience I have ever had with a device from a major manufacturer. So far, NEVER PLAYING A DISC has failed. Even in the initial menus, it starts out with a series of random white flashes. I bought this after reading a lot of negative reviews on here. I like that there are no malicious "apps" on the player - it's all already on my TV. It seems that 4K players are not yet perfect. Everyone you've read about has issues with freezes blocking the player or brief freezes in the movie (even with the best 4k HDMI cable).
