I just received my water bottle and noticed the plastic number category on the bottom. This bottle is made from #7 plastic which is not intended to be recycled as these plastics contain BPA. You can verify this by doing a quick Google search. These water bottles contain BPA despite their claim. Don't buy those water bottles. I'll send back the one I bought right away.

I've seen that if it breaks there is a lifetime guarantee so I'm just waiting for a response from the seller to see if it will replace my broken bottle. If they do, it gets 5 stars everywhere! I love the bottle (until one day it popped) updated: they give a lifetime guarantee! They responded quickly and sent me a new one for free after it broke. I will buy more for friends. I ordered this without really reading the reviews. It wasn't until I received the bottle that I noticed someone said it was BPA-free. In short, I did my own research on recycling code 7 for plastic. As it turns out, plastic #7 releases harmful chemicals and should be avoided in food and beverages. Also a new bottle of WASH with pure chemicals.
