Bought for my wife and for me. They are easy to install on the car door pocket. Easily accessible when you need it, it offers a sharp blade to cut through your seat belts if they are preventing you from exiting your car after an accident. This also gives you the chance to break the window pane to get out. I've heard of situations where people get stuck in their car. When your cars are on fire, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Although the hammer looks well built it doesn't have a plastic tip meaning a person could injure themselves rubbing against it. While the mounting system allows for some customization, the reality is (in most cases) the device must be installed in the up position, again presenting a risk of injury from the exposed tip.
