LB International 5-Light Plastic Window Candolier with Ivory Base - Clear Bulbs (Model #12051) Review

If you're like my mum from the old school, that's what you want to see in the window. I thought they stopped that style (wish they had). I think sometimes you can't let go of the past. she loves it

I bought two windows in the living room. The style hasn't changed since the 1950s! Want to find one that holds 7, 9 or even 10 candles. There is never enough decorative lighting at this time of year!

Exactly what I wanted. I remember them from my childhood and wanted to put them on my front windows. They're a little light, but they're fine once I've attached them. From the outside they look exactly as they should - beautiful and a little nostalgic. I'm glad I bought them

I bought two of these to replace the ones I've had for years. They are exactly the same. They look great on my two front windows over the holidays. I had trouble trying to fit a medium bulb into one of these, but managed it in the end. Reason for four stars.

Coming back from a Christmas trip to Germany we wanted a traditional arch of lights in the window. That's enough and I've bought several sets to have them ready for use by Christmas 2016. (Haven't used them yet as they were bought in January of this year - looks like they'll be perfect!) Also, I've tested each before storing and each one works great.

A few years ago I foolishly donated my light bulbs in favor of "timer" candles. What mistake! First, trying to sync all the candles was a nightmare. In addition, each candle had its own head. Some caught fire during the day; Some stayed on all night even though the timer showed 6 on and 18 off. So this year I decided to go back to electric lighting with a timer in the socket. These things have always been there and haven't changed much. They are cheaply made but will last a few seasons before the plastic becomes brittle and falls apart. The ones I had were about 10 years old and were held together with lots of duct tape. . The ones I received (I ordered two) seem new and fresh and all the outlets work. The one we bought was defective. When we plugged it in, the plug exploded - along with a huge short circuit spark that could have ignited something. It was a wiring error because when we replaced the chain (it came with it) and tried again, the same thing happened. One of the reasons people have abandoned these types of candles is the potential fire hazard. This candolier supported the general unrest.
