My 11-year old Boy Scout wears this cap sometimes on night hikes. The cap is warm, and the light is useful to help spot things along the path at night. It is not as bright as a flashlight or some larger headlamps, but it does the job to avoid tripping, and it is so light you don't even know it is there.He used it recently on about 4 hours of night hikes, and the light never dimmed.My son gives it 2 thumbs up, might give it more if he had more.

The lights are really bright. I use my hat for early morning dog walks to be visible to cars. It also helps me locate his waste.

The light is bright but not long range n the switch on/off is hard to turn, because u need to take off of ur head to turn on/off. The better way is push bottom to turn on/off

I have a headlamp that works really well, but this hat is a nice, light (not heavy) alternative when it's colder out. I also like the blaze orange color to evade hunters during deer season. I use it daily when I'm out with the dog, especially when I'm cross-country skiing and don't need or want the heavier headlamp to weigh me down. I do wish the hat were a little larger; even for my tiny head it has the tendency to slip off if I'm going under low branches, etc. Plenty of illumination to avoid…

I was so happy when I got this but first time actually using it for the light the thing broke. The wires are so flimsy they just disconnected and are just beyond repair. 1 use and the thing breaks 🤦 It's ashame cause I loved the hat but definitely not worth it if you actually want to use the light.

The hat part is similar to those sold by dollar stores.The light is bright but the switch is tiny hard to use and the exposed wires easily come loose then it’s just a dollar store hat

Bad product. Do Not Buy if you wear them to work in. I bought 3 of these Beanies. The idea is great but the product is not good. The wires have broken off every single one of the battery units inside the band of the BEANIE. I bought them at different times so its not the batch that was bad. I'm trying to find some one to re- wire them. I work on a farm and need a head light so my hands are free. I have my computer guy looking at the wiring now. there got to be a better product out there.
