Nice little lamp for lighting and ceiling fans

I really like this lamp. It's a good solid base and gives good light. I deduct 1 star for the setup because it's a bit tricky. But to be fair, I must have been an idiot. I ended up using command strips to hang it up instead of the provided method.

Nice little lamp, but...

Arrived today and this lamp looks great, but it's even smaller than I originally thought. Not much as we were planning to order another one if this lamp works. However, when I plugged it in to try it, it immediately blinked a few times before disconnecting. When I removed the bracket to look at the wiring, I noticed that this wire was not attached properly and was slipping out of contact. Too bright for my purpose

This light is amazing but too bright. I bought this because my son likes to paint before bed; However, I don't want a bright light in his room while he's calming down. I thought it would be perfect, but it's quite bright. Much brighter in real life than in the photo. What you can't see is that my baby was squinting at the brightness. If the light was dimmer, could be dimmed, or had the option to change the lightbulb to dimmer, I'd love that. I asked a question and the seller replied that it was
