I needed a hood light in my van. It's so beautiful because it's magnetized and glued directly to the hood. Remember that the motion sensor only works when the room is dark. I almost sent it back and then I read it on the front of the package. I always leave it plugged in so I can keep it on all the time, but the battery life is pretty good. I also love that it comes with a magnetized adhesive strip in case you want to stick it to any surface. LOVE IT!

*EDIT* After a day and a half of motion detection, the flashlight needed to be charged. I expected it to last a little longer. My kitchen sink where I placed this light is high up so I have to get up off my chair to take it off to charge it. Doing this in one day will be awkward! Downgrading my rating from 5 stars to 2.
