However the cons were noticeable from the moment I started using it. The handle was flimsy and easily broke under pressure. It also did not cut through thicker materials. They do not provide a full cut - let alone flush - on 26 gauge 14K yellow gold wire (very thin wire). The wire had to be disassembled, and the cut turned out to be very beveled. I love Lindstrom products but cannot recommend them.
