i use this for most assembly/matting work at the university art department. I tell the students to buy it. it costs money. The only difficulty I had was that it can stick to some papers so well that it rips when removed, but that's probably because I don't use solvent to remove it, so more of a user error than a product issue.

I love this tape but the judge just critiqued it for being used in a competition. The sad part is that I tried the more expensive clear mounting strips but found that the print shifted over time and didn't stick, so I went back to using tape which I think is reliable. If you don't worry about your print being rated, it's a good solution and economical too.

I have curated several exhibitions created from scratch which have been viewed and traveled the world. I am also a working artist. I have used this tape extensively and almost exclusively to make mats with suitable backings (to place the art in frames and to keep the art secure when it needs to be taken out of the frame).
