Based on my experience with these fuses, I would not recommend them for any industrial or scientific application.The nickel plating peeled off easily leaving our equipment vulnerable to damage..

I will never buy again!

Purchased for use with air compressors for air bag suspension. These are 80 amp fuses used in a system that can draw a maximum of 60 amps. Customers were bringing back cars complaining that their air compressors weren't working. I checked the fuse and the fuse was fine. Although the fuse in the center did not appear to be blown as one would expect from a blown fuse, the fuse was not conducting current.
