Second: parts and accessories for vans

Second. The first took 8 years to lock road bikes at races. I never installed it as the cable is quite long. I dropped the first one and broke the gear lock.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Some bugs

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Does not take long.

this is the second to fail. Both times they failed after about 3 years. Internally wound metal will rust and crack over time. This error causes the nylon cable to not feed.

Pros
  • a good thing
Cons
  • the packaging is ugly

Helps people stay honest!

I've seen these on toy dump trucks for a few years so bought them for my son in law to borrow my cable lock. This makes a great gift and very handy when it's time to attach the toy. I'm thinking of getting one for my car trailer to secure gas canisters and such.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Works as intended. for RV parts and accessories

The custom mount I welded to the bottom of my RV works great and keeps an honest guy from stealing my generator. Very happy with it, I upgraded the lock to something bigger and stronger. Happy with the product. Mine is under the camper so it's not exposed to the elements so I can't rate wear and tear due to the weather.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Zero

If you plan to install it on your trailer.

If you intend to mount it to a trailer frame with an adapter or other retractable ToyLok device. FORGET IT. The frame mounts have been discontinued and are nowhere to be found. Mine showed up with only 1 screw instead of 2 and no bolts. My only option is to find replacement hardware and drill holes in the frame. Having seen reports of included hardware rusting quickly, I use stainless steel. I'll get it working and not going back as the REESE clone has the same issue. They advertise a mount for

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Worst product - do not buy - only 5 months old - used once!

Terrible product. Less than 4 months later the clutch locking mechanism stopped working. One piece of cable started to rust. Rust appears between the rubber sheath of the cable and the cable itself. The transparent shell takes on an ugly yellowish color. When it rains, water gets in and settles there, wreaking havoc on the interior parts. I've only used it once to lock a couple of bikes at a campsite. Apart from that one time, said damage happened when I just bolted it to my bumper. I've…

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price
