Replace the OEM part with the best in Furniture Parts & Hardware

Easy installation with included hardware. The original piece broke in half and I repaired the door hinge which lasted three years. Last year I replaced the bracket with a flex single guard but it couldn't hold the harness. I used zip ties to secure the wire harness to the dual flex guard set as I didn't want to strip wires to reroute them through the wire posts. Happy with the product

Exactly what I needed - van parts and accessories

Exactly what I needed. It was a replacement so I tried to save money and get a single but it wasn't the same. I reordered a double and since it came bundled I think I've solved this problem from Happening again. There is only one hinge so the strap practically collapses where it snags on the fixed frame when the slide comes in, no wonder it breaks, can't believe it lasted long at all. I took the pivot that came with the kit and modified it to loosen the bolt and attacked it on the frame, then…

  • Excellent design

Cheap quality plastic - direct replacement for lpi

Exact replacement for 2014 Redwood GK. This is the replacement part from Lippert. Cheap quality plastic. The push-on supports are cheaply made. Very thin in the support area. The aluminum support rod is 6 inches long for some applications and is not strong enough to just screw in from the top. Depending on use, the service life is approx. 3-5 years. Difficult to replace/install as existing wiring (120v and 12v) has been removed. , TV cable, propane lines and 1/4 inch lines and ice machine…

Pros
  • Solid build

  • Something different

Not for unqualified owners, return to dealer for repair required.

This part is not serviceable, it is a copy of a production part designed to create the cheapest product to be installed during production with fuel and electrical wiring going through fixed holes what use as a spare part causes unnecessary extensive work. The electrical cable will need modification to route it through the holes. Or the molded slide rails need to be modified to route the fuel and electric cables. The main purpose of this component is to safely protect the fuel lines and…

Poor design - both sides need to rotate

Ordered to replace a broken existing guard. The downside to the design is that the guardrail has a free-moving hinged end, but a flat end that needs to be nailed to the trailer's I-beam. Because this flat end is bolted directly to the trailer frame, it cannot "float". This causes the flat end side to flex back and forth as the slider moves in and out - until the protective material breaks. (I suspect this was the problem that caused the original guard to break.) My "solution" to this design…

The design is imperfect.

Finally found! I had no idea what this thing was called, but after many name calls, here it is! This item is a direct replacement for the original and as another review says I had to cut each of the loops to get the wires through but then all I had to do was tie them together between the wires. Latches to hold them in place and still allow some movement when opening and closing the breech. Now my only problem with this item is having to replace it first. My father bought his very expensive…
