🔋 Lippert Components 358601 Replacement Remote & Charger: Top-Quality Convenience for Your Device Review

A genuine Lippert rechargeable remote that is exactly the same as my (now crushed, idiotic) original. My only (very minor) complaint with this seller is that the remote comes with no timing instructions. They're easy to find online and I was up and running in less than 20 minutes.

Bought to replace an original I lost when leaving our campsite. I had a problem locating the board in our fifth remote sync wheel and I called Lippert and customer service was very helpful. Once the board was found, synchronization was a breeze. Thank you Lippert.

It was pretty easy to program and set up, but syncing it with my trailer's system was another matter. An email to Lippert Components asking for help went unanswered. After going through a significant number of documents in the Lippert library, I finally found the secret of how to connect it. Now it works fine. So I give the device 5 stars. I'm giving ZERO stars in support of Lippert.

This product makes it much easier and more convenient to engage, disengage and re-engage my fifth wheel. I would recommend this to anyone who owns a Lippert 3.0 Ground Control, whether OEM or aftermarket. If you have an OEM unit, simply check the controller switch just above your storage access door and see if it has a free 6" black wire. This is an indication that your device is Wi-Fi enabled. That's a little finicky. that's why I didn't give 5 stars.

I bought this item for my Van Thor Windsport. It is used remotely for extension, canopy, jack and generator. It worked great. Setting up the remote control was a bit fiddly. However, calling Lippert's technician proved very helpful and successful. Yes it works as advertised. I am very happy. A word of caution. No lanyard or pouch included. It is slippery and can easily fall out of your hands. That's how I broke the factory remote. I recommend a bag for storage and careful handling of the remote
