Good for dyeing ties.

The paint was easy enough to use, there was so much of it. The colors weren't as vibrant as I expected. It's probably my fault for the mixing. It stains horribly if it gets into a stain not covered with gloves.

Dyeing clothes

Does not remove discolouration. It takes a lot of labor and a lot of water to dye clothes. Beware of double washing after dyeing. Dye color affects white clothing. However, after staining, we achieved the desired uniform color.

Difficult to use.

I don't know why they don't make dyes less complex than this one. I spent maybe over 2 hours painting a quarter sized patch of bleach with mediocre results. The back of the bottle says this dye may not work on bleach stains but I don't know why? In the end I managed to get the color to stick, but I may have to spend more than 2 hours to match the rest of the fabric.
