Lisle 80380 5-Piece Hose Remover Set Review

Well they seem to be well made and they do the job. I saw some reviews about the glasses being too sharp and laughed. These things are sharp and I've found that they can actually go through the hose quickly if you don't pay enough attention to them!

For a long time Snap on was the only company that made them. I have a bolt and a lisle, both are the same except for the handle. Lisle cost a quarter of the tool price. The best hose removal tools every DIY enthusiast or professional mechanic should have.

They seem strong and work reliably I think if I had to complain they are larger than I thought they would be ideal for big hoses power There aren't many other smaller hoses on the radiator, but this is great. Who knows, maybe they'll make one a little smaller

Very useful tool kit. I've looked at them for years and wondered why anyone would buy them instead of just using a hook or screwdriver; now i know why Land Rover Discovery II; I'm not sure I could have disconnected a few hoses without these tools. Used 3 out of 5, probably saved me 20-30 minutes.

I didn't think it would work but removing the hoses almost made me lose faith. So I thought I'd try them out. In fact, they work. I hate myself for arguing to buy them for so long. They made it impossible to replace the heater core on a 2001 Ford Taurus. (Although as a side note, if I ever meet the Ford engineer who designed the heater core assembly for the Ford Taurus, I'll punch him on the nose.)

very impressed with these tools. I only bought a kit for one of the tools (this kit is only $5 more than the price of a single competitor tool). Now that I have it, it's a set of tools I didn't know I needed. I used all but one of the tools in my project. Two really long tools saved me hours of work pulling an oil cooler line out of my Lotus. You need these tools, just buy them.
