🦶 Little Foot Purple Thang - 2 Pack Review

I hit this tool with a needle while piercing some kind of quilt. I cut off the end but my sewing machine wasn't damaged! I changed the needle. I was so glad I used this instead of the popsicle stick I use when I lose it. Now I always have two on hand.

Both Purple Thangs came in a plastic bag that was slightly melted at the top. The parts were cheaper and thinner plastic than my original Purple Thang. This was supposed to be part of a scrapped gift but I was confused by the overall quality. I decided to order the original Purple Thang which costs a bit more for just one. I didn't like it at first. I've never used a tool like this before, but now that I've used it, I love it! At first I found it too flexible, but in use it was never a problem. I bought a sewing stylet but haven't used it. I love how I kept poking through my fabric so the purple rag really helped with that.

After years of watching I finally get it. I bought 2 packs as it wasn't much more than a single one. It's a handy device, but I'd rather have it made out of metal than plastic, and I'd happily pay more for a metal one. The plastic seems a little durable, but use with care. It does what it's designed to do, but sometimes I find myself reaching for the wooden "pusher" to pop out the corners. If they break or get lost I will not replace them.
