Review Engine/Esp for Religion & Spirituality

I liked the book, I liked the creativity of the story, I liked the characters and I liked the writing style. You can follow the timeline so easily, the book is very well written and the language is simple (if you learn English you will understand it without any problems). Roxy, the main character (well developed, by the way), starts making decisions based on emotions. and impulses that affect not only their present but also their future. She is so young and has to face the consequences even…

What a Great Modern Bible Retelling

This book is a modern day retelling of the woman at the well in John 4:4-30. loved her journey through 5 husbands, multiple tragedies and over forty years before her soul completely faded. It's about a community that doesn't have a very clear history and makes Roxy into someone everyone else has come to expect from her. It also depicts an unsupportive family whose main concern is looks. After all, it's about love that can't be found with a man or money. For me, it's not just reading a great…

Good, solid read.

I finished this book in a day and a half. I could have done it in one sitting, but life got in the way and I had to cook dinner. There was a moment when I started crying and it wasn't a very pretty picture. It just shows how much I put into the story and the characters. Literature recommendations! Roxy didn't really want to get married as often as she did. She just happened to be cheated on by some men. However, when she took off her blinders, she saw the truth. Fortunately, Roxy has good…

Star Letter is Best in Kindle eBooks

I loved this story based on a woman who met Jesus at a well. I think many of us who don't know all the facts could be wrong in our assessment. It's the same with Roxy, the young woman we meet in this book. To be loved for who she is, Rosie meets and marries five different men. The end of every marriage only reinforces Roxy's belief that something must be wrong with her. And the lies and judgments of those in their world just keep piling up. But every relationship teaches you a little more about
