Easy installation, excellent security.

If you are using this for over a year this is one of the best purchases you can make for your car. Very easy installation. The only complaint I have with the Tacoma is that on one side (outside the safe where the hump is located) there is a gap behind the Tacoma console's hinges that items can slide through. I had a gift card and coins that were on top of the safe, they fell under the safe, I had to remove the safe to get it out and then reinstall the safe. It was my fault but I plan on…

Excellent secure storage

I installed this on a 2014 Toyota Tacoma. The installation time was about 25 minutes. This almost involves dismantling the center console tray. Instructions are clear and mounting screws are included. The fit was perfect. It is screwed into the inside of the truck. The space is moderate. This is enough to store all important items in it. There is a combination lock with 4 discs. It is attached with a pin. The finish is a beautiful black powder coat finish. Overall I am very happy that I bought…

Buy it no regrets.

I've just finished installing and knew I had to write a review. A few weeks ago I had an amazing grip, well, a grip! I have a 2008 Tacoma without an auto-lock. So I think the doors were open. Just enough time to get everything from the Central Consul. I was looking for a safe option for the consul. I found one from Tuffy which had bad reviews as it wasn't safe and was almost half the price. I think you get what you pay for. It is likely that many different types of pistols could be placed in…

Well built and easy to use

I don't usually carry many valuables with me but it's very reassuring to know that I can store some valuables in this safe and not rely on mine Hiding stuff elsewhere in my truck. I engage in active recreation, which does not always allow me to take all my valuables with me. Installation was easy and all you have to do is remove the console cover. spin it Ready. Just make sure your code is set above anything, there's nothing in it. I also used some packing material to fill the gap on the…

Looks solid and does what I need.

I installed this on my 2011 Tacoma work truck to have extra secure storage for my wallet, house keys, etc. while I was working. I think it's easy to install, to be honest I have a lot of experience with mechanics and trading, but the whole installation only took me about half an hour. It fits well and appears to be well made and no doubt offers some protection against theft. The only complaints I have are that the lock cylinders/tumblers are a little clunky and it feels like they could make the

Good product! - Interior

This is by far the best lockable storage compartment that allows easy access from the Tacoma driver's seat. I read several reviews and explored many different products for lockable storage in my truck. It is very durable and well made. Being bolted to a vehicle with its solid construction would make it impossible for anyone without a basic set of tools to gain access to anything inside in my opinion. not allow. After my car was broken into earlier, the last thing I want to see is the wrong end…

I trust that my belongings are safe

Super easy to install and very secure! I absolutely trust firearms and other assets. It has a thick steel body and there are no lever tips to easily break. I'm pretty confident in the design. This is better than some other cantilever safes on the market as the entire cavity is encased in steel while some others are just the top plate. You remove the armrest, remove the armrest bracket, loosen and replace the two 12mm screws, install the longer 12mm screws, and reinstall the armrest. Made. They…

I'm glad it's good for anti-theft protection

Three years ago I installed a Lock'er Down® console safe with a 4-digit combination lock in my 2013 Toyota Tacoma. Installation was fairly easy, despite the fact that the "instruction sheet" is sparse. Took me about 45 minutes to install from start to finish. Installation requires removal of the factory flip-up console cover. This part of the operation was the most difficult due to the tiny screws, but if you have reasonable manual dexterity and are used to doing DIY projects, installation…
