Fits most eggs

Weird shape or something but my wife got some eggs today that didn't fit. Judging by the shape of the container, the wide eggs sit higher and can be crushed by the lid if you're not careful. Otherwise it is very convenient. As others have pointed out, ours also has air vents in the base. Will not be airtight or watertight. We don't care because we literally deliver fresh eggs from the hen to the fridge. Still a good buy as it offers excellent protection.

  • Good product for the price

  • I have no negative feelings about it it's ok

Very durable. Leaky.

Very sturdy construction. Just note that despite the seal at the top, it is NOT airtight. There are small holes in the base. I originally bought this to protect some of the eggs when camping in my car. I was hoping the case would be waterproof so the eggs wouldn't get wet when I put it in the fridge. I'll use it anyway and maybe just seal the holes with silicone. The description really needs to be updated that the egg carton (size 12 eggs) is NOT waterproof.

You can not do without it

This is the second egg storage that I have ordered. i love eggs I ordered eggs at 18 instead of a dozen so got the second one. They protect my balls from damage by busy hands. I also still sanitize food containers with chlorox bleach. They are very cheap and since I always have eggs in the fridge I don't have to worry about them going bad. Well, I'm a big fan of eggs and I always have enough in the fridge. They also protect my eggs from moisture. I hate eggs in boxes but sometimes I just get…

Egg dispenser not as described

I bought an egg dispenser to store hard boiled eggs. It's advertised as air and water tight, but it's not. There are six small holes at the bottom. There are two holes in the attached photo. Two holes on the edges and two in the middle. It doesn't look like a defect so I'm not sure why it says "water and airtight". As this item is marked non-returnable I called Amazon and they refunded my money. . We have other plastic and glass storage containers with this type of lid, so I know I would love…

Durable and transparent. What else do you need?

I don't have a farm and I buy fresh eggs; I use this container to transport store bought eggs. I like that the container is durable and I can put other items on top of it in the fridge without worrying about eggs being crushed. I also love that I can see how many eggs I have at a glance, saving me precious seconds before looking at a paper or styrofoam box on the way to the grocery store. My only complaint is that when I removed the sticker from the egg carton I left weird black sticker residue

Not big enough for large eggs

I have purchased 8 of these containers. I buy 2 dozen eggs a week from a local farmer and I buy them to reduce waste and make it easier to wash farm fresh eggs. Unfortunately the farmer has to sort the eggs specifically for my containers as the largest eggs get crushed by the lid. . For large chicken eggs, the lid should be 1/2 inch higher. Fix it and it will be 4 or 5 stars. to the hot spot on the lid to form a dome over each egg. This worked, but is unsightly and makes the containers…

Exactly what I was looking for.

I've been cutting off the top of an egg carton for a while and using the bottom as a tray. Recently a very thin egg cracked in the shell rendering it unusable. After throwing it away, I decided to invest in a washable tray. Enter this container. Arrived quickly and was securely packaged. This is a durable piece of plastic that is easy to clean. I've attached a picture to show everyone. First, they are giant eggs. They fit perfectly. Second, it fits perfectly on the egg rack next to the butter…

Keeps the "boiled egg " smell in the fridge!

I usually boil about a dozen eggs each week to keep lunch and snacks on hand. If I put them in the fridge in regular boxes, I can always smell them when I open the door. Not terrible, but not great either. I had a plastic egg carton that folds in three, sort of like an extra lid, and it was nice and you could see which eggs were being cooked from the outside, but I saw a mention of it on Facebook. group and decided it was worth a try. I use glass containers that close like this to store food…

Will not fit in fridge

Despite Lock and Lock's good reputation I found this container to be completely leaky. I recently bought a couple of Lock and Lock brand containers to use in the fridge when camping. Last weekend I had the opportunity to test everything. My other containers held up well in the ice box - absolutely no water leaked into the containers. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the camp, the egg container was filled with water. I dumped the water and put it back in the ice box, but the next time I went in

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No insurance
