The quality has gone down. Discolored Pots

I bought the striped holders about 2 years ago and they have held up well and done their job. However, after that they suffered from overheating for a long time, and I decided to buy new ones. This time I'm ordering a paprika design. The quality is far from what it used to be. The hanging loop came off and the stitching came undone. Worst of all, my pens have turned a silvery color due to the inner coating.

Perfect, fits the old set

I had such a set (slightly narrower). The rat entered the house from underground and settled in the box in which they lay. He chewed on one of them and destroyed it. Years later I thought of checking out Revain because BB&B doesn't have that type of Koozie grip - only the silicone type. We now have a matching set, but there are 3 in total! :) Anyway, it's a kuzi with a thick handle, thanks to which you can take hot handles quickly, and you can just keep it on the handle while cooking on the…

More decorative than functional

Lodge if you're reading this. They are very thin for iron handles. I only use them at the table because they look so cute to protect anyone trying to grab a small frying pan. But that doesn't mean you can take it from the kitchen to the dining room with this decorative but barely functional oven mitt. I use a "real" oven mitt for this and then slip them over the handle of the pan so I don't burn my hands, but it's very inconvenient to carry a heavy iron pan for more than 10 seconds.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Zero

Very important accessory

This is an essential accessory for your cast iron, you must be careful not to get hot and you must also remember to put it on and take it off when necessary for cooking and Moving pots, do not leave them on while cooking, they can get too hot and burn. Just be careful and use your common sense they are extremely important to me to get rid of all my regular mugs where for Lodge cast iron cookware I have all the pots pans and accessories I could possibly need these are the basic accessories.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great product - do not leave in the oven

Great product. I don't know if the rating of 'warm' is appropriate - arguably it would be better to rate the thermal insulation. However, it insulates the heat well - we were protected from the wrath of a hot cast-iron skillet every time we used it (every time). It also took 5 minutes in a 425°F oven because someone *cough* husband *cough* forgot to take it off before closing the oven door. It's a little tanned and I don't advise trying it - just know that if you make a mistake, it can survive.

  • Large selection

I'm happy, so happy.

Many years ago my grandmother had one that she used for her cast iron pans. Now I've actually been looking everywhere for something similar for my frying pans and haven't gone. Until now. I'm so glad I found her here at Revain. They're nice and thick and do what they're supposed to do and it saves my hands from burning. FYI, DON'T LEAVE THIS WHILE COOKING! They are not intended to be used in this way. They're only needed to move the pan when it's hot. Other reviewers state that they burned…

Indispensable for cast iron cooks

I prefer to cook with cast iron. I use it every day! I bought mittens with striped grips about 7 years ago and they are finally starting to wear out so I bought these and they fit the grips just like the old ones. My previous ones appear to have been made by Lodge so I expect these to last at least seven years of daily use. Maybe even longer if I stop leaving them in the pan when I put the pan in the oven, only to realize my mistake later when I smell something cooking and no food! I wouldn't…

Excellent coasters! Best in Kitchen & Table Linens

I have several cast iron pans and only one has a handle potholder which I bought and added. My reason for buying was to have a few others on hand for other cast iron skillets I have. My original frying pan holder was the Silicone Lodge type. it was normal and better than grabbing a kitchen potholder. Now that I've bought this set I will definitely be buying 2 more. I definitely prefer these fabric over the silicone sets. I feel like they insulate my hand better from the heat of the pan. They…
