I bought this to use with my iPhone for business calls. The sound coming from the headphones is very clear, sufficient for listening to music or speech. If I speak into the mouthpiece, the person I am speaking to can easily understand me. The volume and mute controls on the cord are handy. They're much easier to use than the controls on the iPhone itself.

My iPhone's screen locks after a few minutes so I can't mute or unmute the keyboard call without entering a passcode or activating with Touch ID. When I want to unmute to answer a question on the phone, this delay becomes an issue. This headset features a convenient on-cord mute/volume button that is always available. Voila, problem solved. To date, the headset is comfortable, the sound clarity is very good. And you can't beat the price.

This is exactly what I wanted. It's just a headset that uses a flat pad, not a donut, just a very thin sponge that covers the entire speaker enclosure at the same thickness.
