This microphone works great!

I have been using this mic for over 3 years and have recommended it to several friends who have asked me for advice on a good chat mic. I also love that it comes with both a desktop stand and an additional adhesive mount that attaches to the side of the monitor to keep it out of the way when not in use. I've found that when used with Google Talk, Google Voice, Magic Jack, and Skype, I can walk around the room and communicate clearly as if the person were sitting in my room. I even went into the

Inexpensive and works well

I have this B/C I don't usually need a mic so I don't need a headset mic kit. Also, I already had great headphones. At first I thought it was crap because even though my computer knew it was plugged in, the mic didn't pick up the sound or it was so weak the recorder didn't pick it up. I tried again about half an hour later (it stayed on the whole time) and now it works. Maybe he just needed time to install the drivers or something. But now it works quite well. Does an excellent job of…

Excellent quality, low price - I like it.

I really recommend it for general microphone users. It works great with online chat and does a pretty good job of recording. One thing I always get comments about is my loud typing with my old mic, but this one works like a charm canceling my typing and even my noisy air conditioner right behind me. I threw up a foam pad but to be honest I've done a lot of testing with and without it and there wasn't much of a difference. It may be cheap, but it's a great mic as long as you're saving up for…

Worked great. for a month

Got this mic for skype and it seemed to work pretty well for about a month. A few minor quirks that were acceptable considering the price: * It picked up a lot of noise around it, not directly in front of it, but as long as the environment was quiet enough, other people could hear me just fine. it stopped working fully after about a month. Still recognized as a microphone when I plug it in, but no sound. I haven't moved it, unplugged/plugged it back in, nothing. It just lay motionless on my…

No frills desktop mic - affordable and does the job

I've been messing around with computers since the 90's and then, the mic got me for free with Creative Labs Soundcard Blaster (for those who remember). It was a simple beige plastic desktop microphone, similar to this Logitech product, and it was the only one available at the time. This trusty mic was amazing and lasted me until 2012 when it finally broke. Since it broke, I actually bought a replacement. I've been involved with VoIP/Voice Chat since the original MS NetMeeting became popular in…
