Slightly stiffer than a fingertip but very similar in use. I bought it for powder and cream shadows. I'm tired of running my fingertip over a jar of eyeshadow (disgusting). After application, simply wash off - a light, pleasant lemon juice! Clean and ready for the next use.

I think I should learn to read the description better as I didn't expect them to be silicone but I didn't have to return them and they work great

I bought these as a test to see how they work with the eyeshadows that are best applied with a finger. They work great, which really surprised me. The construction seems good. I think these 6 packs will last a long time.

They do not work as a brush or sponge applicator. If you are used to using silicone applicators then they are great. If you've never used silicone applicators before, it will take some practice to get them working the way you want them to. They don't work that well in powder shadows. In cream shadows they are better. They are best for applying lip color.

These are the best! Great for applying creams and what not if you have fake nails, less mess! I wish I had bought them years ago!

Too hard to use on a 40 year old skin around the eyes. Someone younger than me recommended silicone and these brushes are very good, but the skin of the eyelids changes with age, so in my opinion they were not an effective material for applying eye makeup.
