MOST ADVANCED RASPBERRY PI YET: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is a significant improvement over the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. 3X CPU speed, up to 4X RAM, true Gigabit Ethernet, 2X USB 3.0, Dual 4K MicroHDMI Video, MicroSD UHS, and Bluetooth 5.0 in the same compact size. REDESIGNED LAYOUT: While the form factor is still the same, the layout has changed so Raspberry Pi 4 Model B will need a new case. The processor is built on newer 28nm technology but the cores use more power on startup (1A) while peak power (1.5A) is slightly lower than before. IMPORTANT CHANGES: Instead of MicroUSB, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B uses USB Type C for power. You can use a MicroUSB to USB Type C adapter if you have a high quality true 2.5A power supply. The HDMI ports are the MicroHDMI variant and not the MiniHDMI variant found on the Raspberry Pi Zero. ANODIZED HEATSINKS FOR LONG LASTING PERFORMANCE: With our exclusive heatsink set in non-enclosed passive cooling condition, the Pi 4 can operate at maximum performance for five time longer than without heatsinks or about twice as long as lower profile competitive heatsinks. ASSEMBLY WARNING: Only the main SoC and PCI-E USB bridge disipate enough heat to warrant a heatsink. The LPDDR4 RAM, Ethernet PHY, and WiFi/BT module should not have heatsinks! Putting heatsinks on them poses short-circuit risk and decreases wireless signal quality. Do not use metal cases if you plan to use WiFi or Bluetooth!.

Who doesn't need LoverPi?

I have several Raspberry Pis running at home, one of which is acting as a network file server and is connected to a 2TB drive. I tried using an old Raspberry Pi 2+ as an Octoprint server for my 3D printer, but that didn't quite work for me. It worked fine until I added a few plugins that were too stuck for the purpose. I decided to upgrade so my Ender 5 3D printer could be remote controlled, so I went to Revain to find a Pi 3 that wasn't too expensive. I chose the Loverpi Raspberry Pi 3 B+ asโ€ฆ

Don't Eat It!: Computer Components

They taste awful, but they're great for many other things including but not limited to: retro pi (remember every video game from the 90's and earlier at the touch of a button), Kody (that's a media center, but you can get add-ons to watch anything and everything), Raspbian (which lets you use it more or less like a regular computer), Pihole (which works like an add-blocker for your whole house is ) and about a thousand other things that can be even more difficult. All of this can be learned inโ€ฆ

Ideal for SDR materials

My second Raspberry Pi and a huge performance boost over the second iteration! I'm using this as a mobile SDR (quirky police scanner) with the GQRX software, but it gets very hot. So I ordered a custom heatsink/fan system to solve the temperature issues and it works really well! All in all a great calculator! If you add extra fans to them, you'll need to make sure you buy a power supply with some juice. I recommend one for 2.5 or 3.0 amps. Cooler/fan system: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07โ€ฆ
