Great photo and photography backpack

This backpack is perfect for my mirrorless camera and up to 3 lenses. I'm currently packing my Fuji XPro2 with a 10-24mm wide angle lens and a 50-140 telephoto lens, extra filters, lens cleaners, etc. I'm planning on adding a 16-55mm lens and teleconverter soon and I've had enough place for package. these too. It's nice to have a camera packed against my back to keep dust out (very handy I might add, you'll never realize your gear is snug against your back). Love the separate compartment for…

Pros
  • Best in its niche

Fits securely and snugly in camera bags

The Lowepro Flipside camera backpack was great. I was looking for a camera bag or backpack. I've taken camera lenses with me on previous vacations, but I didn't like them falling to the bottom of the bag. Traditional camera bags were bulky and I never felt comfortable using them. I stumbled across this backpack and thought about the idea of back access. We recently returned from a trip to Utah. My son and I walked through Mighty 5 (five national parks). The trip was 8 days and we were 7 out of…

This might be for you

Let me get that out of the way right away, I love the spaciousness of this bag, it ticks all the right boxes - camera and lens, try it; Full Size Checkered iPad Case; side pockets for water bottles, checkered; enough space in the upper compartment for headphones or other "little things", check. So why did I return it? This isn't the kind of bag you want to carry around town or on vacation. It's too technical for that. The biggest issue is the durable backpack style hip belt that cannot be…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Medium sized camera backpack with very good design

I bought this specifically for a trip to Europe where it will be my only backpack and also a wheeled bag. It's a 350. I fit in: a Canon 70D with a bulky kit lens, 18-135, with a strap wrapped around the lens; wide angle 10-18; Tele 15-250; 1 Canon 430 Speedlite flash; and a cloth bag with cleaning supplies. All of this fits into the camera compartment, which opens "at the back" - you either have to remove the packaging or "turn it over": there is no other access. A full frame DSLR can get very…

  • Free for educational use

Great daypack, not a big lugger of gear.

I bought this for two reasons; I needed a new set for a week long photography trip in New Mexico and am always looking for the "perfect" photography package. When it arrived it seemed smaller than I expected. the size of objects floating on a white background. I thought 350 would be more. But for shorter trips, like day trips or weekend trips with specific destinations, this is a great package. I was able to get two Rebel bodies, one with a Canon 100-400 and one with a kit lens, and a third…

Perfect for day trips, trips abroad

Although I already have a few camera cases for specific purposes, I bought the Flipside Trek 350 specifically for day trips and long trips abroad. This process was carefully analyzed: I wanted a bag that would fit my Canon 80D, 2-3 fixed/zoom lenses, a lightweight tripod and small camera accessories. Article. be weatherproof. Convenient to wear for hours. relatively compact / not bulky. and protect my camera from "sticky fingers" while navigating dense tourist traps. I am happy to report that…

My favorite camera bag

My main camera bag used to be the Lowepro shoulder bag. As I get more and more lenses, I have two issues with the shoulder bag: convenience and roominess. I can fit a body (Sony a7II) and three lenses in a bag and a water bottle on the side, but it's heavy. Sometimes I have to change shoulders. There's no room for a jacket either, even if I'm only wearing a bodysuit and a lens. I used to have a Tamrac Expedition 7x, but it wasn't comfortable for me. I also found that I had to take the backpack…

Pros
  • Carry exactly what you want, no compromises with divided camera compartments and open space,
Cons
  • Slightly torn
