Missing Parts - Sonars and Sonars

Would have appreciated the 4 stainless steel washers that should have been included. I'm shopping at the hardware store.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Just what I need for cars and car electronics

Attaches to my kayak under the hull in a recess. The bracket that came with the Lowrance sonar was too large for the transducer. The old metal bracket was just what I needed.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in white

Much better than the original Simrad plastic.

Matches the general scan sensor very well and has worked flawlessly so far. Disappointed by the fact that it has already started to rust. Needs regular maintenance, 3 stars for that.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Contact seller

Skip the cheap plastic for this one.

We were returning to the slipway and heard a knock at the stern of the boat. I immediately turned off the sensor and found that the cheap factory plastic mount had detached from the transducer and was dangling in the water. We temporarily tied him to the control cable to come back. He pulled out the boat (pontoon) and removed the cheap factory brace and replaced it with this stainless steel one. Very strong and should last forever. rest on the water.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Better than the plastic bracket

The original plastic bracket broke because I had to trim it to fit the mirror. He didn't have much material left and I hit a sunken tree and it snapped off. I used a metal mount instead of plastic and it matched the old holes perfectly. I work in many areas where there are stumps and have not had a single problem. The plastic mount allows the transducer to rise when I'm running through the water at high speed. The metal bracket keeps the transducer in place even when working hard at high…

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Reliability
