As soon as I took it out of the box and put it on the table the cats came and started scratching it. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I should have checked the size, it runs very small but luckily my cat likes it and is happy to use it. With that in mind, I'm happy with the durability.

I just received this product and my cat loves it. I was looking for a good alternative to their cardboard toys as they were very dirty. This allowed her to scratch to her heart's content and not make a mess yet.

is smaller than I expected - more my fault. it works and it's MUCH less messy than cardboard scrapers. I don't like that it's soggy. My cat barely has time to scratch before getting up. I'd probably be better off with more. She still uses it, but also can't scratch it anymore.
