This press was great for making Smashed Burgers. I use 2 ounce hamburger balls and the perfect size press to make them thin and crispy. Very easy to clean. The handle is a good size but when I left the press too close to my pan it got a bit hot. There's nothing a hot pillow can't solve.

I like it very much. It's so easy to use and clean. All you need is a good press and you've got the perfect burger. I just form a golf ball sized meatball and sandwich it between wax paper or parchment paper, squeeze once and you have the perfect burger. It's a good weight so you really don't need to put too much pressure on it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to make the perfect burgers quickly and easily!

As it was packaged in a ziplock bag with no markings it is difficult to verify that it is 304 stainless steel. The item itself is a rough piece of metal. Every edge is unfinished and definitely rough. You will definitely need to file down each edge to smooth them out.
