According to my experience, this Industrial and Scientific hook is perfect for outdoor use. It's sturdy, well-made and easy to install. The hook can hold a considerable amount of weight and is versatile enough to be used on a number of surfaces. The only con I can think of is that it may be too large for some smaller items. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable hanging hook.

I pre-drilled a hole in the wall in the wooden post for the hook to hold the plant. It weighs less than 5 pounds so it would have been fine if the screw hadn't broken in the wood while turning. I even made it by hand so it can't be broken by force. Very disappointed and will come back for a refund. I'm just glad it's the main theme.

Media could not be loaded. I had a hard time finding a hook with a hole big enough to easily fit 1/2" PVC pipe. They are ideal for the job and economical. needed a good screw base for the project. I had to buy over 30 hooks so it was inexpensive too compared to $5 a piece at the local hardware store.
