Ultra-Speed LTERIVER PICIE 7 USB 3.0 Card Adapter is a great way to add USB ports to your PC. All you need is a free PCIE port and a screwdriver. I think internal ports are useless. Most modern PCs have USB ports on their motherboards, so there is little or no need for them. Having 5 additional USB 3.0 ports on the back of the device can be helpful for older/slower devices. This card connects and works great! Ease of installation.

This is a fantastic internal USB expansion card via PCI Express. It fits into both the largest slot and the smallest PCI slot. Technically it is more of an extension with 5 USB ports and 2 internal ports. The two inner ones can be reached, but are not as accessible as the 5 facing outwards. Really great build. I have external storage that I often move between PCs and I need USB 3 speed for drives. While external USB hubs work, this solution is faster and actually cheaper, and also keeps all devices off my desktop. Great solution to an annoying problem at a decent price - I need ten more!

This car was pretty easy to set up. I just plugged it into my computer and it basically just works. At the same time, the card's structural integrity is rather poor.

My PC is years old but still works fine with one notable exception. USB ports. The problem arises due to the presence of several additional peripherals, including a phone dock, player and others. I've been using the USB array connector for a while, but it can affect performance a bit. This 5 slot USB card works much better. It fits neatly into one of the expansion slots; and most importantly, it worked right from the start. There are no problems with drivers and connection.
