I received these standard Fluval Edge Aquarium Pre-Filter Foam Sponge Kits (12 packs) that Honest-f sells for several of my aquarium filters. I don't have a Fluval Edge but I like to use it around my existing filter so my shrimp and baby don't get sucked into the filter. This works pretty well so they were all a bit small and easily expanded to cover my existing filter cap. Excellent sponges! The best part is that they aren't specific to Fluval (in fact, I don't even have a Fluval filter). I use them as a pre-filter for my other filters. This makes the filter safe for juvenile fish/shrimp and captures lots of large debris in a much easier to clean space. I use this on AquaClear 50 and Aqueon QuietFlow 55/75. The latter has a much larger air intake tube, but these lips fit nicely over it (although I had to cut off the bottom two pieces to cover the length). They…
